Eleanor Beatrice Masters, 90, of Carlinville, Ill., formerly of New Castle, Pa.,
died Oct. 29, 2009 in Carlinville Area Hospital.Born Dec. 4, 1918 in Trenton,
N.J., she was the daughter of the late Julius Otto and Gertrude Agnes Wolf
Quering.She married Frank Raymond Masters Sr. in New Castle on March 25, 1955,
and he died Feb. 21, 1994.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Denise Masters of
Carlinville, Ill.; one daughter, Karen Lee Gish of New Castle; four
grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and three
stepgreat- grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was
preceded in death by one son, Henry John (Buddy) Matiste, and one daughter,
Jacqueline (Jackie) McQuiston.
